![]() Comic stories have very good length and, unless they are repeating, they never overstay their welcome. Your enemies can easily kill your characters given an opportunity, which gives encounters just enough tension to make them interesting. Campaigns are divided into parts which make them good breakpoints between sessions. A characters surviving a campaign, or even a dead character which has been commemorated, can be used in a different campaign, retaining their transformations and some of their skills, but not age, relationships and equipment. To let you play more with the characters you loved the most, Wildermyth employs a legacy mechanic. Or they can get too old to reliably heal between combats. ![]() Some of your characters can retire before the final stage. Each has its own campaign which depicts them in detail.Ī campaign in Wildermyth will play out during a course of 50 years. It features 5 groups of pretty unique enemy factions. The fantasy world is pretty innovative as well. As an example, a character can become half fire elemental or replace their eye with a magical gem.
