Choral speech occurs when we speak or read in unison with one or more persons. The DAF/FAF combination emulates choral speech. DAF is experienced as a time delay (much like an echo) while FAF is experienced as a change in pitch. It changes the way people hear their own voices through a combination of Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF) and Frequency Altered Feedback (FAF).
